Earth Heirlooms

Earth Heirlooms (Anna Busalacchi) is a metals artist creating jewelry and metal objects imagined from the natural cycles of time, change and decay. Her passion for accessorizing began at a young age as a means of self-expression and she is forever inspired by the jewelry passed down from her relatives.

Connecting back to her Wisconsin roots, Anna explores the use of found objects from the Great Lakes beaches in her art, transforming “trash” into treasure and Earth’s natural offerings into empowering adornments or heirlooms passed on for generations, like the hundreds of years old sea glass found on beaches. By centering these found objects in her creations, Anna aims to tell stories through the fossils from before and the ones we will leave behind.
