Handcrafted Knitwear. Made to be worn - made to last. Nature, but above all the human being, with all its facets, emotions and feelings, are centre of the work. Johanna is the mind behind hausbyhaus. She studied Fashion Design in Berlin and found her passion in knitwear, structures, and prints. With a strong focus on creating to last, to make pieces that hug you rather than constrict you, to value and maintain the craftmanship. Each piece is either hand knitted or knitted on a manual knitting machine. The patterns are hand sewn together such as the visible label on piece - so no mass production here but much more the feeling of the human presence in each piece.
